Tuesday June 20, 2023 -Day 19- Today was a tough day. All that I had planned for today was an educational visit at 11:15am. Fortunately my hydration appointment for the morning was canceled due to being a rockstar and having all my levels confidently rising. When we woke up this morning, we got ready quick and walked to my favorite Rochester restaurant, Benedict’s. Per usual, I got a pancake flight of blueberry, chocolate chip and smore’s flap jacks. They were delicious. Our little secret, but I had a shot of espresso as well. It was delicious and I have no regrets. Upon completion of breakfast, we returned to the room for a hot minute before walking over to Charlton 10 for the educational visit. It was relatively informative yet uneventful. I just want to go home. I’m so fucking ready!
After our visit to Charlton 10 we returned to the Residence Inn where my dad did some quick research to find a point of interest about 45 minutes away that we would try to drive to. I say try because this wasn’t really a point of interest and more just a joy ride. My pops loves a fucking joyride. I mean I do too, but he lives for it. We ended up down on a small lake where there was no real spot to stop aside from Mac’s Burger’s, Beers, and Seedy camping. This camp spot was on the edge of the lake behind a hydroelectric dam. The dam provided a few minutes of entertainment, especially because there was a bald eagle chilling on the top. It was honestly American As Fuck.

We were gone too long though. 45 minutes turned quickly into a few hours, and I was fading fast. I wasn’t having anything from that point on. I was hangry. It was approaching 4:30pm and I was thinking about what I wanted to eat. I had this mouthwatering Reuben from Twigs a few days prior and decided that I didn’t want to go on with life until stacking another one of those. I somehow trudged up to my room to shower and chill for a quick moment before stating that we would go to Twigs. It was just as good as my daydream played out. I was satisfied. But I’m ready to go home. It’s time.
